Mami Maggie’s Recipes grew from the kind of food that has always brought our family together. Named in honour of our mother and grandmother, Maggie, our business is rooted in the Cameroonian recipes, flavours and traditions passed down through generations. For us, cooking and hospitality have always been how we gather, celebrate, care for one another and stay connected to home.
Born in Newport, Mami Maggie’s Recipes is a family-run start-up led by mother and daughter, Joys and Sheryl. Today, we carry that tradition forward with the wider family never far from the kitchen on a mission to bring the soulful, vibrant flavours of Cameroon and West Africa to the Welsh high street.
We believe that sharing incredible food is the ultimate way to bridge the gap between communities, bringing people together around a shared table. Beyond our bustling stalls at Roath, Riverside, Splott Eco and Green Life Events Markets and festivals, we bring our genuine hospitality directly to you — offering bespoke catering across Cardiff, Newport and surrounding areas, plus home delivery, so you can enjoy our authentic dishes at your own table.
